Project Location & Details
This prestigious infrastructure project involves the development and upgradation of the Rampur–Kathgodam section of National Highway 87 (NH-87) from Km 0.000 (Km 190.000 of NH-24) to Km 42.791 (design chainage Km 43.446) in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The work is being executed under the National Highways Development Project (NHDP) Phase III using the Design-Build-Operate-Transfer (DBOT) Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM)—a modern infrastructure financing model that blends government and private sector partnership.
The project aims to transform a critical transportation corridor into a robust four-lane highway to improve road safety, reduce travel time, and enhance logistics connectivity between the northern plains and the hill states. The upgradation includes construction of new bridges, culverts, service roads, flyovers, and bypasses, while ensuring minimal environmental impact and optimal land use.
