Project Overview: Erection of 45.0m × 2 Composite Girders | Duhai – Delhi–Meerut RRTS Project

As part of the ambitious Delhi–Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS), CICO was entrusted with the erection of two 45.0-meter span composite steel girders at Duhai at DP(18-19) and DP(20-21). This section is critical to the smooth operation of the high-speed RRTS corridor, designed to revolutionize regional mobility with fast, reliable, and high-capacity transit solutions.

The project involved fabrication, trial assembly, and launching of heavy composite girders with absolute precision. CICO executed the entire operation under challenging site constraints and strict timelines—ensuring uninterrupted coordination with ongoing civil work. With advanced machinery, CAD-based detailing, and rigorous quality checks, we ensured flawless girder alignment and fitment.

These girders were launched using CICO’s safety and structural integrity considering the urban density and technical complexity of the RRTS route.

The successful completion of this project demonstrates CICO’s capability to deliver precision-engineered, structures for national-level transit systems, reinforcing our leadership in the infrastructure domain.
